Cycler app - planner redesign

Cycler app - planner redesign
Cyclers - A cycling route planner offering personalized routes based on bike type and cycling preferences. Helps you discover safe and enjoyable cycling routes on detailed cycling maps. Newly enhanced with turn-by-turn voice navigation designed specifically for cyclists and ride recording.
As a UX/UI designer at the IT startup UMOTIONAL s. r. o. specifically on their biggest project, the Cyclers app. I faced numerous challenges. Here are some examples of my top challenges and a brief overview of my design process, highlighting the most interesting one with a few explanatory words for each.

challenge
One of my bigger tasks in Cyclers was the redesign of the planner screen. It was a bit overloaded with information, didn't have the best UX in a few sections, and the UI was a bit outdated. The founders of the app, with whom I constantly collaborated throughout all the design stages, had a few ideas on how to improve the planner.
I took the ideas and also create the Lo-Fi wereframes for the three versions of the planner screen.
A)The first one - at that moment, the current appearance of the planner screens,
B) The second one was division into multiple steps/screens.
C) The third one was Combination of the previous two - original planner and with multiple steps.

process
When we liked the results, I for myself, connected a few sections to avoid getting lost in this multitude of wireframes. Then, I started connecting all the wireframes together to create scenarios for tasks to test it with users. We tested it many times to ensure that everything was connected as it should be. In the end, I had three versions of clickable prototype that simulate a mobile app for testing with users.
This flexible process facilitated rapid iteration while addressing evolving requirements.

Outcome
Over the two years at Cyclers, I contributed to multiple areas of the product and brand experience — from redesigning planner flows, onboarding, paywall, and navigation screens to improving the overall design system and visual identity. I also worked on the website redesign, app animations, marketing materials, social media assets, App Store and Google Play screenshots, and helped create a new logo and app icon. The project required close collaboration with founders and developers, balancing UX improvements with a consistent and modern visual direction across the entire product ecosystem.
