Jourey Map

After talking with people about their real experiences and expectations with delivery apps, I developed a user journey map to capture the crucial pain points and challenges users may encounter that cause frustration. I asked them why they use food delivery apps, and a common answer was:

Too busy that cannot leave the work

Don't want to order the food nearby

Don't want to cook

Don't have time for grocery

Too lazy to go out

What was my role as a UX/UI designer in the Cyclers bike navigation application? As a UX/UI designer at the IT startup UMOTIONAL s.r.o., specifically on their biggest project, the Cyclers app, I faced numerous challenges. Here are some examples of the top challenges I encountered, along with a brief overview of my design process, highlighting the most interesting ones with a few explanatory words for each.

Overview

Best Taste is an online food ordering system that sets up a food menu online, allowing customers to easily place the orders they want. They can also easily track their orders. The management maintains a customer database and improves the food delivery service. This system also provides a feedback feature where users can rate the food items. Additionally, the proposed system can recommend restaurants and food based on user ratings, and the restaurant staff will be informed of areas for improvement, including quality. Payments can be made online, by cash, or through a pay-on-delivery system.

The project will cover three fundamental steps of the core experience

Discovery

To help people in various cities connect with restaurants of their choice.

Order

To help restaurants reach a wider market.

Delivery

To deliver orders to the respective customers who place them using the app.
